 Kibabii university today officially ended its 2025/26 cultural week in a style compared to other academic years. 

This cultural week has provide a platform for deferent students from different communities to showcase their traditions through songs   dances,and traditional food. 

Students from Bungoma country famously know BUCOSA showcase thair talent through songs and dances (kamabeka)


On the other hand student from maasai communities participated and entertain thair fellow students with dances from thair community. 

Key student leaders — including former SOKU president  former Dennis Baraka, academic secretary Methuselah Wangila, treasurer Macmillan, SG Ayugi, and security & accommodations secretary Kevin Wakaba — joined the university leadership led by the Acting Vice Chancellor in officially concluding the cultural celebrations.


Earlier in the day, the final of cultural week tournament  between Unity FC and Rangers FC brought out high energy and school spirit. The match ended in a draw, but Unity FC defeated Rangers in a penalty shootout.



The event marked the end of a week full of performances, art, fashion, tradition, and sporting  through different communities showcasing thair traditions .

  Namaloko area is about 300 metres from kibabii university but it is one of the most fearful places by kibabii university student .Residents and villages explain why end up nicknaming it namaloko..
