Like many other university students across Kenya, Haggai receives HELB funds to support his education. But instead of using all the money for his day-to-day expenses, he made a difrent decision that many students talk about but few ever attempt. He chose to invest part of his HELB loan into a small business . While others saw temporary comfort in spending the money, Haggai saw an opportunity.  Kibabii university today officially ended its 2025/26 cultural week in a style compared to other academic years.  This cultural week has provide a platform for deferent students from different communities to showcase their traditions through songs   dances,and traditional food.  Students from Bungoma country famously know BUCOSA showcase thair talent through songs and dances (kamabeka) On the other hand student from maasai communities participated and entertain thair fellow students with dances from thair community.  Key student leaders — including former SOKU president  former Dennis Baraka, academic secretary Methuselah Wangila, treasurer Macmillan, SG Ayugi, and security & accommodations secretary Kevin Wakaba — joined the university leadership led by the Acting Vice Chancellor in officially concluding the cultural celebrations.  On Saturday BUCOSA students conducted a hike at lorio mountain as one of their signal to notify to kibabii university fraternity that they are still strong and united. The opposition team led by their chairman Dan delvin has declared to strongly unite and build a new BUCOSA and their main agenda is to ensure they create good relationships with other associations found in kibabii university.  Other kibabii university alumni led by lord Erastus masinde were also present in the meeting. Their presence was celebrated by other comrade, Erastus promised to use all possible means to bring back bucosa in good line. Students organisation of kibabii university threatened to join lectures strike

Early today students organization of kibabii university headed by their president victor koech has threatened to join lectures on their strike if the government fail to solve the ongoing issues of lectures strike. While addressing the media today koech and other leaders express their disappointment towards ministry of education and the national treasury for failing to realise the amount of money demanded by lectures. The students body of kibabii university stands in solidarity with their lectures and demand that the government fulfil their promises to lectures in order to end their ongoing strike that has gone for two weeks now.   Namaloko area is about 300 metres from kibabii university but it is one of the most fearful places by kibabii university student .Residents and villages explain why end up nicknaming it namaloko..
